Why did you cancel the project?

Because it was clear Gorilla Fabrication couldn’t deliver what they promised. They failed to produce even a basic design that matched my operational needs. After months of delays and underwhelming work, I formally canceled in October 2024—exactly as allowed by the terms of our contract.

Why haven’t you taken the truck or parts?

Because no truck was built, and no parts list was ever approved. I’ve asked them multiple times for proof of what (if anything) they purchased for my project. They’ve never provided it. I’m not accepting parts I didn’t authorize or inspect.

Did Gorilla spend your money on something else?

That’s my belief. Around the time I was requesting my refund, Gorilla was working on purchasing a commercial building in Charleston. I haven’t seen any evidence that funds were spent on my project. It’s reasonable to suspect that deposits—mine included—were used to support unrelated business expenses.

What are they offering now?

Three “options,” none of which reflect the agreement we made in March. Two involve restarting a build I canceled five months ago. One suggests giving me parts I never approved. None involve returning the money they owe me on the timeline we discussed.

What are you asking for?

The same thing we agreed to in March:

• A list of any funds or items legitimately tied to my canceled project

• An immediate refund of the unspent portion

• The balance paid by September 1, 2025

Are you suing them?

Not yet. I’d prefer not to. But I’m not walking away from this. If Gorilla continues to refuse a fair resolution, I’ll do whatever I have to—whether that’s legal action, liens, or making my story public to protect others.
